We set out from Bujumbura in a van to travel to Muyinga, a small village in the northeastern corner of the country. I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Vision for FAMA Ministries

In 2005, God birthed the vision for FAMA Ministries in my heart. It was one of the lowest times in my life. I had just fled my native country with my family because of the tribal wars. I was a particular target. I had already barely escaped with my life in 1988, 1996, and 1998. In 2004, I fled my homeland for the last time in horrendous conditions. I had only $50 in my pocket because war had exploded around me while I was in church. We left everything behind to save our lives.
